New this morning is an ABC News poll showing Sen. Kamala Harris was the clear winner of the presidential debate last week. Other recent polls have shown her surging nationally.

The Quinnipiac University Poll released yesterday showed Harris surging to second place following the debates. With 22% of the vote, this is Harris’ first time in double digits.

Meanwhile, former Vice President Joe Biden is currently at his lowest number yet in the Quinnipiac poll at 22%- compared to 30% last month. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren trails at 14%, with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders at 13%, and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg with 4 percent. Both Texans were under 3%.

The CNN/SSRS and Suffolk polls also showed Harris moving up to second place.

As for policy proposals, 31% of the poll respondents favored Warren’s ideas, while 18% picked Sanders, 11% for Biden and 8% for Harris.
