Meet the new texas signal

by | Aug 19, 2021 | Sticky

We’re so excited to see you.

We built Texas Signal because we knew progressives need a counterpunch in the age of misinformation and disinformation in Texas. As traditional and trusted media outlets have closed, they’ve frequently been replaced across the state and country by shadowy right-wing publications that spread lies and advance an extreme agenda.

We’ve spent two years cultivating a new generation of progressive talent and creating compelling, fact-based reporting about the issues that matter most to Texans.

Today, we’re proud to show you the new Texas Signal. We wanted to build a new website that would give our readers the best experience possible, and help us continue to build the biggest megaphone possible for progressives and concerned Texans.

Fighting back against right-wing lies is a full-time job, and we’re honored to have your back with the work we do every day. You can help us keep up the fight by joining our Patreon today. You’ll get access to exclusive merch and content, and you’ll help us do what we do best: hard-hitting, fact-based political and investigative reporting.

Thank you for being a reader and helping us speak truth to power.

It is an honor to do this work with you.

The Texas Signal is a progressive, fact-based media company. Our mission is to build a media ecosystem in Texas to help get the progressive message out and challenge right-wing Republicans. Think of us as a megaphone to finally counterbalance right-wing conservatives who have successfully built their own media empire in the Lone Star State.

Are you tired of Texas Republicans pushing big lies and trying to steal your vote? So are we, that’s why we’re fighting back against the right-wing lie machine. Our commitment to ethical, fact-based journalism is vital to our democracy, and we can’t do it without you. Consider donating today to help us stay in this fight.
