End Citizens United/Let America Vote, a major Democratic PAC focused on anti-corruption and voting rights, has endorsed Greg Casar in his race for Texas’ 35th Congressional District.
“Time and again, Greg Casar has proven that he is a champion for Texas families, working tirelessly to improve their lives and make sure that everyday Texans have a voice in their government,” said End Citizens United/Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller in a prepared statement. “He’ll continue that leadership in Congress by fighting to stop corporate special interests from dominating our politics and working to create good-paying jobs for the people of Texas.”
In 2020, End Citizens United/Let America Vote raised and spent $65.5 million on the election cycle.
The group has more than four million members nationwide, including more than 3,600 in Texas’ 35th Congressional District.
“Texas working families need a representative who will show up and fight for them—someone who will stand up to corporate special interests,” said Casar in a statement. “I’m honored to receive the support of End Citizens United // Let America Vote, and look forward to working with them to turn out Texans to vote on March 1st.”
