Texas isn’t quite done with election season yet. Early voting started today in Austin for several important runoff races.

In the mayor’s race, State Representative Celia Israel faces former mayor and state senator Kirk Watson. Israel came in first in the November election, and has received endorsements from groups like EMILY’s List and Latino Victory. She also received the endorsement of The Austin American-Statesman. Watson, who was previously the Dean of the Hobby School of Public Affairs at the University of Houston, has been endorsed by Travis County Judge Andy Brown and former state senator Wendy Davis.

There are also runoffs in three Austin City Council Districts. Early voting for the runoffs goes until Friday, December 9th. Election Day is Tuesday, December 13th.
