A new trailer for comedian Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest film features a segment with Texas Commissioner of Agriculture Sid Miller.
It can only mean one thing: Miller was duped, badly.
The new trailer shows Cohen making sexual euphemisms with Miller as they fist bump.
In Cohen’s previous work, Who Is America?, the comedian interviews public officials on camera and often exposes their absurd ideas.
It’s hard to think of a better test dummy than Miller, a right-wing provocateur with a massive Facebook following. He is best known for making outrageous, racist statements on social media — so it’ll be interesting to see how he embarrassed himself on the silver screen.
Miller won re-election in 2018. He defeated his Democratic opponent Kim Olson by five percentage points.
Cohen’s film with Miller, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, is set to be released Oct. 23, 2020.
Update: Sid Miller has now confirmed that he was “Boratted.”
