The White House announced that President Biden will kick off a second round of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Investing in America tour.
On Monday, June 26, President Biden will kick off a second round of the Biden-Harris Administration’s “Investing in America” tour with a major infrastructure funding announcement at the White House.
Over the course of three weeks, the Investing in America tour will visit over twenty states, including Texas. Senior Advisor and Infrastructure Implementation Coordinator Mitch Landrieu will travel to New Mexico and Texas to highlight infrastructure projects funded by President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
The administration is hoping that the tour will be an opportunity to highlight initiatives throughout the country. Several of the stops will be at locations that directly benefited from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.
The tour is a chance for the administration to champion their legislative wins back to the specific communities which benefitted. Tour stops will visit key areas benefitting from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.
This tour will also serve as a direct contrast to national Republicans, who want to repeal key provisions of Biden’s agenda that are lowering costs for millions of Americans and incentivizing American manufacturing.
Earlier this month, the White House launched a new website, Invest.gov, where Americans can see the specific investments going to their communities as a result of the Biden-Harris agenda.
